Poland was enjoying a peaceful time and the Italian Renaissance had spread throughout the region. Reason, intellect, and beauty were valued and this was the culture Czcibor was raised in. His family were connected, his uncle was a minor composer and his father a banker. Czcibor was allowed a great education in the arts, and met many interesting people including some members of an occult group called the Brotherhood of the Wolf. Meteora, Greece is where one of the main schools exists. Czcibor found himself studying in Meteora, and he was initiated into three or four different orders by then. This was where he became a member of the Inner Order of the Brotherhood of the Wolf. Czcibor performed the ancient ritual with his brothers, drank the potion, and became a wolf with them. He had found a part of himself that he'd always felt but never really confronted. Czcibor did the ritual when he was in his early 20's and when his training was complete he taught for a number of years. He taught in Egypt, Greece, Italy, Poland, and in Scotland.
