She studied in Florence from her teenage years and wished to be an artist. It was hard for a girl to be taken seriously as an artist, and her family felt that she would outgrow it and then agree to a semi-arranged marriage with a son from another elite family. Instead, she went to Turin, further from her family's reach and continued to work on her art. She was very inspired by her surroundings in Turin, and decided to cave in slightly on her dream of being an artist, to instead have a hand in directing the family cash and influence with her new friends in Turin society.

In a certain monastery near Turin, Italy is an inner school that has existed in various forms for thousands of years. At least. It goes back to ancient times when visitors from the stars would visit men and show them secrets. Some of them were attracted to humans and their offspring became an elite line on this planet, known to this day, but only to a small group of people. Those who have the lycan gene, or as some call it, "the curse," can be recognized by others who have it, or who have seen it and know to look for the signs.
The visitors came from Sirius the Dog Star and they came because they wanted to interact with humans, to guide us and to show us secret knowledge. Shapeshifting goes back before ancient Egypt, but many groups use Egyptian Magick as they elevated it to extremely high levels. Secrets of the Ancient Egyptians came down through inner schools then in Ancient Greece and then Rome, they were known to inner orders of Knights Templar, and to the Bavarian Illuminati. Finding order in the chaos of nature and identifying it as the work of God, or Gods is what they do in studying science, and mathematics, but they study these things for spiritual reasons, to find the truth of higher intelligence in the design of the world around us.
It is not as common to find female werewolves in mythology, and it may be something to do with the rituals associated with actual shapeshifting being confined to schools run by these secret occult orders and fraternities who mostly were men. Covens of witches were also known to practice shapeshifting rituals but for some reason, less commonly did they choose to become a wolf. Owls and cats were somewhat more common. There were goddess worshipers among these inner orders, though, and others more open-minded who also believed in the power of rituals with women involved. Patrizia's rare status and power allowed her to gain access to many secrets, and she was generous with favors and influence in return.
As time passed when Patrizia was about 25 years old she became a mistress to a powerful man in government. He told her he would marry her, except for his wife, but that he planned to have her murdered so that they could be together. Patrizia was shocked and didn't want to have anything to do with a murderer. She had been involved with the occult long enough to know that you pay for doing something like that, one way or another.
And so she packed her things and requested help from a trusted brother at the monastery where she'd first found out the secrets of the lycan order. They fled north towards Switzerland but her lover had soldiers go after them. When they couldn't outrun the soldiers, they found a place to hide for the night and Patrizia and this lone guard performed the ritual that made her take on wolf form. He was not able to escape and was killed the next day. They found her body and took her back, but she was alive trapped now in wolf form. Because of her advanced occult knowledge and because of the powers available to her when manifesting as this magical being, she was able to attain a state that transcends time and space. She can still project her woman form, or she can run as a wolf. She is able to visit this world as well as traveling to other realms. The more you are able to open your mind to receive her the more she can tell you.
She loves study of the occult, walking or being outside at night, ancient music, rich spicy smells, oils, and she loves traveling into your dream realms and showing you hers. We all have an inner landscape we visit when dreaming but most of us forget a lot of it when awake. The more you know yourself there the more you know yourself everywhere because that is the space between worlds. She can visit you there.
